Korean Peels
A gentle, layered brightening treatment that works through multiple mild actives applied in sequence rather than a single strong acid. It produces glow and improved clarity with minimal downtime, and its low-intensity approach suits higher-melanin skin particularly well.

How a Korean peel differs from a conventional peel
A conventional peel uses one acid at a working strength to force rapid shedding. A Korean peel layers several mild actives, each doing a small amount of work, building a cumulative effect without the inflammation that a strong single acid creates.
For Indian skin this matters. Inflammation is what causes post-inflammatory pigmentation, so a method that achieves brightening with less inflammation carries less risk of the outcome you were trying to avoid.
The trade-off is honest: it is gentler, so it is slower. You will need the full protocol. What you will not need is three months of correcting a treatment that went too far.
Who it is for
- Dullness and lack of glow
- Mild to moderate uneven tone
- Sensitive or reactive skin that cannot tolerate stronger peels
- Anyone who cannot take social downtime
- First-timers who want to see how their skin responds before anything stronger
Who it is not for
- Deep or long-standing pigmentation, which usually needs a stronger approach
- Active acne
- Anyone expecting dramatic change in one or two sessions
- Barrier-damaged skin, until repaired
The Aglow method
We use Korean peels as the entry point of most brightening protocols, and frequently as the whole protocol for reactive skin. Where a client has pigmentation caused by previous aggressive treatment, this is almost always where we start, because the skin needs to calm before it can correct.
Aftercare
- SPF 50 daily and reapplied
- No actives for 48 hours
- No steam, sauna or swimming for 24 hours
- Follow the home routine we give you
Frequently asked
Is a Korean peel gentler than a normal peel?
Yes. It uses several mild actives layered in sequence instead of one strong acid, so it produces less inflammation. That makes it better suited to higher-melanin skin.
Will my skin peel?
Usually not visibly. Some people get light flaking for a day or two.
Is there downtime?
Minimal. Most people return to normal activity immediately with a mild flush that settles within an hour.
How is this different from Korean skincare products I can buy?
Concentration and depth. Professional-strength actives applied in a controlled sequence reach further than home products can, and the sequence is selected for your skin rather than for a general audience.
How many sessions will I need?
Six to eight, spaced two weeks apart, for a meaningful result. It is gentler than a conventional peel, which means the protocol matters more.
Can I have this if my skin is sensitive?
Usually yes, and it is often the right choice for sensitive skin. We will confirm at assessment.
