Aglow is a skin, beauty and wellness destination in Puzuthivakkam, Chennai, founded by Lavanya in July 2025 and operating from its current home since 23 August 2026. We combine Korean skincare methodology with expertise in Indian skin, delivering customised treatment protocols built on in-depth assessment rather than fixed packages.
Aglow describes a soft, luminous radiance that comes from within and creates a warm, healthy, vibrant appearance. It is not a surface finish or a temporary shine — it is what skin looks like when it is genuinely well, and it is the only outcome we are interested in producing.
Business background, aesthetic training.
Aglow was founded by Lavanya, bringing together a business background with specialised training in cosmetology and aesthetic wellness therapies. That combination shapes how the clinic runs — the training explains the protocols and the standards, and the business background explains why Aglow refuses to operate the way much of the industry does, selling volume packages to people who were never assessed properly in the first place.
July 2025 to Puzuthivakkam.
Aglow opened in July 2025. In August 2026 we moved into a purpose-designed space in Puzuthivakkam, built around how we actually want to work: unhurried consultations, private treatment rooms and the equipment to assess skin properly before touching it.
Four ideas behind everything we do
Assessment before treatment, always
You cannot customise what you have not measured. Every client is assessed before anything is recommended.
Your skin does not exist in isolation
Your work, your commute, your diet, your sleep, the water at home and the Chennai weather all change what your skin needs. A protocol that ignores them is a guess.
Prevention beats correction
Correcting damage is slower, harder and more expensive than preventing it. We would rather protect the skin you have.
Gradual beats dramatic
On Indian skin especially, aggressive intervention often creates the problem it was meant to solve.
What we do not do
No packages before assessment
We do not sell treatment packages until we have actually assessed your skin. Selling first and assessing later is how the industry gets it backwards.
No promises of one-session results
We do not promise results in a single session, because meaningful change on real skin does not work that way.
No whitening or fairness language
We do not use the words whitening or fairness. Evening skin tone and changing skin colour are not the same thing, and only one of them is honest.
No treating what needs a doctor
We do not treat conditions that need medical attention. We refer instead of overreaching.
